Building a stronger province-wide credit union for everyone in BC
Last fall, Gulf & Fraser and Interior Savings announced to their membership that they had entered merger discussions and in April, after completing a thorough assessment of the opportunity, both Boards unanimously agreed that combining our two credit unions would be in the best interests of members, employees and the communities that we serve.
Today, we announced that members of Interior Savings Credit Union and Gulf & Fraser voted in favour of bringing our two organizations together. We look forward to January 1, 2024, which will mark the first day of bringing our two credit unions together.
